I went to see a fab show with Chloe on Saturday night, called The Night Sky Show with astronomer, Adrian West. It was great, really entertaining, informative and funny. But something stuck with me.
He kept getting little things wrong.
The name of the spacecraft probe sent to research Jupiter. First he said it was Cassini. Then he said ‘that’s not right, Adrian, don’t be daft. It’s Juno. Cassini is Saturn’s’
Then he carried on.
Another time he made a mistake he said ‘oh well, that’s what you get with live shows’ and carried on.
This happened maybe 7 times over the 3 hours.
And it made me think of you.
Are you worried about making mistakes?
In videos, or on socials?
Adrian made loads of mistakes, live, in front of 2000 people, and the sky didn’t fall in. He didn’t give up. He just fixed it and carried on. Which is exactly what we should do.
Love, Claire xx

Oh, and if he hadn’t made that mistake about Juno I don’t think I would have remembered it the next day. Whereas here I am the following morning and I’ve remembered Juno AND Cassini. Just sayingl
