Last Christmas my nephew, Thomas, bought me some ‘baubles’ filled with bubble bath from Moulton Brown. All three smelled lovely, but one of them, Rhubarb and Rose, smelled AMAZING. It took me about 6 months to use up the 3 baubles, because a little bubble bath went a long way.

Then one day I ran my bath and realised my cheapy bubble bath wouldn’t do.

I missed my posh bubble bath. So I went onto the Moulton Brown website and spent £25 (yes twenty five British Pounds) on a small bottle of bubble bath. Outrageous!

Would I have spent £25 on bubble bath if I hadn’t already fallen in love with it from the bauble, which was effectively a paid sample? Nope.

Would I buy it again? Yep.

Funny how we change our perception of what we are happy to spend money on, once we’ve tried it and fallen in love with it, isn’t it? Food for thought.

See you tomorrow for another tiny marketing tip!
