When Chloe was little we bought a caravan for holidays. I signed up to the dealership’s newsletter. I did not open a single email from them for six yaers, even though they sent one or two per month. Until, that is, we wanted to buy an awning for the caravan, to give us, effectively, an extra room.
The next email that came through from the caravan dealership had the headline ‘awning sale’. I opened it, saw a great deal, drove down there and spent several hundred pounds.
If they had stopped sending emails to me, because they thought I wasn’t opening them (and hadn’t for more than 6 years!) they would have missed out on that sale to me.
Many people only buy from you when the time is right for them. You don’t know when that is. Keep sending the newsletters.
