You’ll often hear me say that selling is helping. Here’s what I mean:

When we buy something we want or need, we have a choice. Where do we buy it from?

Well, sometimes we go back to a favourite seller. Sometimes we Google. Sometimes we look for recommendations. Sometimes we see a post in our feed that grabs us.

Usually we pick the thing that’s the best fit for us right now. That’s not always based on price, either.

But what we always need is ENOUGH INFORMATION to make a decision.

  • When you, as a business owner, post about your products and services, you are giving me information.
  • When you email about it and let me know you have new stock or limited items left, you’re giving me information.
  • When you tell me about reductions or new promotions, you’re giving me information.
  • When you have a frequently-asked question section on your website and post about it on socials, you’re giving me information.
  • Every story, reel, video, blog, post or update is giving me information. It’s helping me. And because of that, if it’s right for me then I’ll buy.

You’re not ‘being too salesy’. You’re giving me enough information to be able to buy.
